If you have limited time in Guatemala but want to visit one of the most important cities of the Mayan World, this group tour to Tikal by plane from Guatemala City allows you to visit Tikal National Park in a single day, with flights, transfers in Petén, a specialized guide, and lunch included.

The experience begins early at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City, where you'll need to check in for an approximately one-hour flight to Flores, Petén. If you'd like transportation from your hotel to the airport and back at the end of your trip, you can request this as an additional service.

Upon arrival at Mundo Maya International Airport, our team will be waiting to begin the transfer to Tikal National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Guatemala.

In Tikal, you'll join a guided group tour of ceremonial plazas, temples, and acropolises surrounded by the Petén rainforest. You'll see iconic sites such as the Great Plaza, the Temple of the Great Jaguar, Temple II, the Central Acropolis, the Plaza of the Seven Temples, and the Lost World complex.

During the tour, your guide will share the history, architecture, and importance of Tikal within the ancient Mayan civilization. You'll also be able to enjoy the natural surroundings and, with a bit of luck, spot howler monkeys, spider monkeys, coatis, toucans, and other bird species.

After exploring Tikal, you'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, you'll return to Mundo Maya International Airport to board your flight back to Guatemala City. The experience concludes upon landing at La Aurora International Airport.

06:45 AM Arrival in Flores and we'll pick you up (we'll recommend a place to have breakfast while we wait for the other people)

08:00 AM Departure to head to Tikal

09:20 AM Arrival at the checkpoint to purchase entrance tickets to the site. (we buy the tickets for you).

 09:45 AM -We arrive at the urban area of the Tikal National Park and begin our tour of the park visiting the most impressive areas.

01:30 PM End of the Tour returning to the bus parking in the urban area of the Tikal National Park and we will go to have lunch at a restaurant in the area.

03:00 PM Lunch ends and we board the vehicle or bus to head to Flores Airport (Island Tour is optional and at your own expense).

 04:30 PM– Arrival at Flores Airport

6:40 PM– Flight from Flores to Guatemala City

7:40 PM– Arrival in Guatemala City
