WHAT TO EXPECT!
Visit and explore one of the most important archaeological sites in Guatemala, Tikal was declared the 1979 World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will start your trip to Mundo Maya very early, take into account that your flight leaves at 06:00 am, be present for at least one hour and thirty minutes, after an hour of flight you will arrive at Mundo Maya Airport where your Tikal guide Expedition will be waiting with the Tikal Expedition sign with its respective name.
We start the tour, but first if you want to have a breakfast (not included in the package) typical of the region we can go to a restaurant, just let us know. Already in Tikal we visit the important structures that were created by a civilization that over the years archaeologists continue to surprise us with great finds.
ITINERARY
First day
06:00 hrs Flight departure from La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City to Flores with a duration of 1 hour
07:00 hrs We arrive at Mundo Maya International Airport in Flores
08:00 hrs We start with the tour to Tikal (You tell us if you want to have breakfast in a restaurant in the area (* does not include breakfast *).
09:20 hrs Arrival at the checkpoint to purchase entrance tickets to the site. (we buy the tickets for you).
09:45 hrs-We arrive at the urban area of the Tikal National Park and begin our tour of the park visiting the most impressive areas.
13:30 hrs End of the Tour returning to the bus parking in the urban area of the Tikal National Park and we will go to have lunch at a restaurant in the area.
14:30 hrs End of Lunch and we board the vehicle or bus, to go to Flores
15:30 hrs Arrival at your hotel in Flores Island to carry out the respective Check in
Second day
You decide whether to return to Guatemala City in the morning or enjoy your stay at the hotel or Isla de Flores and return in the afternoon.
