Travel and explore the two most important Mayan Cities in the region. Discover Tikal and Yaxhá that keep an incredible history with some 3,000-year-old structures that are preserved under a lush jungle. Also exploring a place with crystal clear waters and an underwater garden, swimming with many fish is an experience that will never be forgotten.
ITINERARY
First day
06:00 hrs Flight departure from La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City to Flores with a duration of 1 hour
07:00 hrs We arrive at Mundo Maya International Airport in Flores
08:00 hrs We start with the tour to Tikal (You tell us if you want to have breakfast in a restaurant in the area (* does not include breakfast *).
09:20 hrs Arrival at the checkpoint to purchase entrance tickets to the site. (we buy the tickets for you).
09:45 hrs-We arrive at the urban area of the Tikal National Park and begin our tour of the park visiting the most impressive areas.
13:30 hrs End of the Tour returning to the bus parking in the urban area of the Tikal National Park and we will go to have lunch at a restaurant in the area.
14:30 hrs End of Lunch and we board the vehicle or bus, to go to Flores
15:30 hrs Arrival at your hotel in Flores Island to carry out the respective Check in
Second day
After enjoying a rich breakfast at the hotel restaurant and enjoying the morning around Flores Island.
Your Tikal Expedition guide will pick you up at your hotel at 12:00 hrs to board the comfortable and safe bus that will take us approximately two hours to reach Yaxhá. We can add the archaeological site of Topoxté to spend and take advantage of the whole day in Yaxhá.
12:00 hrs Departure to the Yaxhá National Park
14:00 hrs Arrival at Yaxhá Park and we go to have lunch in a restaurant in the area
15:00 hrs We begin the tour of the archaeological zone of Yaxhá and then go up to Temple 216 (Temple of the Red Hands) to observe the sunset
18:00 hrs End of the tour and we return to board the bus
20:00 hrs Arrival at your hotel in Flores
Third day
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant, your guide will arrive at 08:00 to begin our tour to the Blue Crater.
08:00 hrs We left the hotel to travel two hours by bus to reach Sayaxché
09:00 hrs We arrive at Sayaxché and board a boat that will take us around the Pasión river and Pucté stream for approximately 1 hour.
10:00 hrs We arrive at the Blue Crater where you will enjoy the beautiful underwater gardens and crystal clear waters
15:00 hrs We board the boat to return to Sayaxché
16:00 hrs Arrival in Sayaxché
18:00 hrs Arrival at your hotel in Flores where you will spend the night
Fourth day
You decide whether to return to Guatemala City in the morning or enjoy your stay at the hotel or Isla de Flores and return in the afternoon.
