WHAT TO EXPECT?

The adventure begins!

Our Tikal Expedition driver in Guatemala City will arrive at your hotel in the early morning to take you to La Aurora Airport. After a 1 hour flight our guide and driver will be at the Mundo Maya Airport waiting outside with a sign with your name. We begin our tour by vehicle and will spend around 45 to 1 hour on the road until we reach the entrance of Tikal (do not get out of the vehicle to get the entrance tickets, we already have them for you). Once in Tikal our guide will tell you the story of how this important city of the Mayan Civilization arose and was discovered, visiting the most important structures, we will climb Temple II (of the masks) and you will see the majestic Great Jaguar Temple in front of us, we will continue with the tour and we will arrive at Temple IV and we will climb it so that you have one of the best views of the entire horizon.

After the tour in Tikal we returned and had lunch at a restaurant inside Tikal.

Knowing Yaxhá at Sunset!

After leaving Tikal we headed towards Yaxhá which is approximately 40 minutes from Tikal. We arrive and prepare to go on an adventure. Our guide begins by telling you the history of this important Mayan City, we visit the most important structures of the site, then we go to temple 216 to climb and see the Sun God (Kinich Ahaw) hide on the horizon.
