DESCRIPTION
Tikal National Park is one of the largest, most important and studied archaeological sites in Guatemala and Central America, with 16 km² and with more than 3000 documented structures.
Start your tour!
We depart from La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City, upon arrival in Flores, your driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it to board the vehicle and head to your hotel in Tikal
Your Tikal Expedition guide will arrive for you very early at 04:00 a.m. at your Hotel in Tikal, direct us to Temple IV (Two-headed Serpenge) to climb and observe the sunrise of the Sun God (Kinich Ahaw) on temples I, II, III and listen and feel how the fauna wakes up when you feel the first rays of the sun.
Then we will have a breakfast (Box), we will descend and continue the tour of the different structures where your guide will give you a fascinating history of the Mayans.
(Just remember that the sunrise will depend a lot on the weather factor.)
ITINERARY
DAY 1:
03:00 p.m. You arrive at La Aurora Airport to check in at the airline
06:00 p.m. We arrived at Mundo Maya Airport in Flores
06:30 p.m. After you complete all the airport departure processes, we board the vehicle to go to your hotel in Tikal.
08:00 p.m. Goodnight!!
DAY 2
04:00 a.m. Your Tikal Expedition guide arrives for you at the Hotel to start the journey to the top of Temple IV
05:40 a.m. In silence we wait for the dawn and the awakening of the jungle
07:00 a.m. We begin the archaeological tour through the different areas of Tikal
12:00 pm we had lunch
02:00 p.m. We leave for Mundo Maya Airport, but first we make a brief stop at El Remate and a visit to Isla de Flores.
04:30 p.m. End of the tour and we return to the Mundo Maya Airport for Check in at the Airline
