WHAT TO SEE IN THE VIEWPOINT, “LA DANTA”?
A 35-minute flight from Mundo Maya Airport and flying over the beautiful Flores Island will take you to this magnificent place that offers one of the most fascinating views of the Mayan world, in the tallest pyramid in Mesoamerica, 72 meters high, built in 300 BC during the pre-classical Mesoamerican period. A demonstration of the magnitude of each of the constructions in the Mayan area, a lot of adventure and adrenaline await you as you walk through a lush jungle.
ITINERARY
Day 1
05:00 a.m. Land transfer Flores / Carmelite Community
08:00 a.m. Breakfast in the Carmelite community.
09:00 a.m. Start of Trekk of 19 km Carmelita towards El Tintal Archaeological Site.
03:00 p.m. Arrival at Tintal and camping
Day 2
07:00 a.m. Breakfast at Camp El Tintal.
08:00 a.m. 21 km trek from El Tintal to El Mirador
03:00 p.m. Arrival at Mirador and camp.
Day 3
04:30 a.m. Sunrise in Piramide el Tigre
07:00 a.m. Breakfast at El Mirador Camp
09:00 a.m. We start with the archaeological tour El Mirador
03:00 p.m. We return by helicopter from El Mirador to Flores.
03:35 p.m. we arrived at flowers
04:00 p.m. We take you to your hotel in Flores
