DESCRIPTION
The ZOTZ is an archaeological site located in Petén. Without a doubt, the ideal tour for adventure lovers in the middle of the jungle. The site is called as such since at nightfall a multitude of bats can be seen near the camp.
We pick you up at your hotel in Flores, we take you and we go to the Cruce Dos Aguadas community from where our adventure through the impressive jungle begins, spotting many howler monkeys, spider monkeys, coatis, snakes, and with great luck also jaguars. After the visit we headed towards Tikal to explore this great Mayan City.
ITINERARY
DAY 1:
07:00AM We pick you up at your hotel in Flores.
09:30 AM We arrive at Comunidad Cruce Dos Aguadas and begin the walk in the company of our community guide.
Lunch and dinner camping
DAY 2
05:30 AM sunrise in the jungle
07:00AM Breakfast at El Zotz Camp
08:00 AM Archaeological tour of the El Zotz site and visit to the Temple of the Night Sun
11:00 AM We set up camp and begin the journey to El Yesal within the Tikal National Park
Breakfast, lunch and dinner camping
DAY 3
07:00AM Breakfast at Camp El Yesal and we continue with the tour to Tikal
01:00 PM We arrive at Tikal entering through the impressive Temple IV. We go to your hotel in Tikal to rest.
DAY 4
09:00AM Your guide arrives at your hotel to start the archaeological tour of Tikal
01:00 PM End of tour and lunch
02:00 PM We board the vehicle to return to Flores or Mundo Maya Airport
03:30 PM We arrive at Flores or Mundo Maya Airport

- Change of destination without surcharge. If it has the same value and availability. Notify us 72 hours before your tour.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the tour you get a 50% refund.
- Cancellations 48 hours before the tour have no refund.
- Not showing up for the tour. It has no refund.
- Any cancellation of reservations for holidays, Easter, New Years, have no refund
- Request changes in itinerary during a service, is subject to extra charges.
