WHAT WILL YOU SEE IN TIKAL?
On the way to the Tikal National Park you will meet several communities on the shore of one of the 3 largest lakes in Guatemala, Lake Petén Itzá, which is home to hundreds of species of fish, birds and wild animals that live and feed on he. There are different types and families of birds, which can also be aquatic. That is why in the Tikal National Park it is believed that around 352 species inhabit. Of these, 50 are raptors or birds of prey and 60 are migratory.
