Travel and enjoy Tikal, the most excavated, studied and important archaeological site in Guatemala and Central America. Your Tikal Expedition guide will pick you up at your hotel in Flores, to board the vehicle. After an hour of travel we arrive at Tikal and begin the tour.

Tikal flourished between the years 200 and 850 AD. C. and then it was abandoned. Its iconic ruins of temples and palaces include the giant ceremonial pyramid Mundo Perdido and the Temple of the Great Jaguar. At 70 meters, Temple IV is the pre-Columbian structure and has a panoramic view. Tikal covers 576 km² of exuberant jungle surrounding the ceremonial center. It took the University of Pennsylvania 13 years to uncover about 10 miles² squares of structures in Tikal. However, many remain to be discovered. So, take some advice… Do not try to see all of Tikal in one day, even if you are in excellent shape!

• For this tour there must be a minimum number of people, if they do not arrive, a new date will be given without any surcharge.
• If the minimum number is not reached on the given dates, you will be notified 72 hours before the tour and the respective refund will be made for the total paid.
• Change of destination without surcharge. If it has the same value and availability. Notify us 72 hours before your tour.
• Guide in French and Italian has an extra cost.

Cancellations

• Cancellations less than 4 days before the tour you get a 50% refund.
• Cancellations 48 hours before the tour have no refund.
• Not showing up for the tour. It has no refund.
• Any cancellation of reservations for holidays, Easter, New Years, have no refund
• Request changes in itinerary during a service, is subject to extra charges.
