Tikal National Park is one of the largest, most important and studied archaeological sites in Guatemala and Central America, with 16 km² and with more than 3000 documented structures.

Your Tikal Expedition guide will arrive for you very early at 04:00 am at your Hotel in Tikal (Don't worry about the tickets, we always include them in our packages).

While in Tikal we will walk 40 minutes until we reach Temple IV (Serpienge Bicéfala) to climb and observe the sunrise of the Sun God (Kinich Ahaw) over temples I, II, III and listen and feel how the fauna wakes up when feeling the first rays of the sun.

Then we descend and continue the tour through the different structures where your guide will tell you about the history of the Mayans.

Just remember that sunrise will depend a lot on weather conditions.
