WHAT TO SEE IN THE VIEWPOINT, “LA DANTA”?

A 4-day walk away, this magnificent place offers you one of the most fascinating views of the Mayan world, in the highest pyramid in Mesoamerica, 72 meters high, built in 300 BC. C within the pre-classic Mesoamerican period. Sample of the magnitude in each of the constructions of the Mayan area, a lot of adventure and a lot of adrenaline awaits you walking under a lush jungle.

Day 1:

• Hora de salida 5:00 am. Te recogemos en tu hotel.
• Arrival in Carmelita is at 9:00 am, that is, 82 km from Flores.
• Walk through the jungle to El Nacimiento: after unpacking, we will meet our local guide and leave for El Nacimiento. The horses will be there to carry our luggage. It is a 25 km or 8 hour walk.
• We will have a country style lunch on the way to the site.
• Dinner will be served at El Nacimiento camp.
• Good night

DAY 2:

• Wake up call in the morning in the jungle. Breakfast will be served at El Nacimiento camp.
• At 7:00 am we will begin our walk through the jungle to El Mirador, this is an 8 hrs.
• We will have a country style lunch on the way to camp.
• Good night.

Day 3:

• Wake up call in the morning in the jungle.
• Breakfast will be served at El Mirador campsite.
• Then we will explore the city of El Mirador.
• We will have lunch on site.
• Dinner will be served at El Mirador campsite.
• Good night.

Day 4 and 5:

• Wake up call in the morning in the jungle.
• Breakfast will be served at El Mirador campsite.
• At 7:00 am we will begin our trek through the jungle back to Carmelita in the same way.
• Day 5 will arrive around noon, lunch and transportation will be offered back to Flores.
• The end of the trip
