DESCRIPTION
WHAT TO SEE IN THE VIEWPOINT, “LA DANTA”?
An exclusive expedition to the cradle of Mayan civilization, between the eternal jungle and the heights of the past. Feel how time stands still as you fly over the Petén jungle, an endless sea of green that hides one of the best-kept secrets of the ancient world: El Mirador, the mother city of the Mayan World. With our exclusive Overnight + Helicopter tour, you don't just visit this monumental site... you live it, sleep it, breathe it from the inside.
Your experience begins with a breathtaking helicopter flight from Flores, where you'll see the dense canopy of the rainforest from above, its ancient formations emerging like sacred islands. Upon landing at El Mirador, you'll be greeted by a seemingly unreal landscape: cyclopean structures, ancient causeways, and temples that have defied time.
You'll walk through the heart of a city that was the capital of a civilization long before Tikal existed. You'll discover the legendary pyramid of La Danta, one of the largest in the world, the Tigre pyramid, and the Twins complex, and walk along trails steeped in history, surrounded by pristine nature.
As night falls, the camp comes alive with fire, stories, and the sacred silence of the deep jungle. You'll sleep in the middle of the Mayan Biosphere, under starry skies, just as ancient explorers did. The energy of the place envelops you: you are at the origin of everything.
The next day, after a magical sunrise, you'll have more time to explore, reflect, and close your experience before boarding the helicopter again, which will take you back to Flores, taking with you more than just photos: a real connection to the soul of the Mayan world.
