The GUATEMALA ADVENTURE 5 DAYS & 4 NIGHTS combines urban exploration, vibrant culture, iconic natural scenery, and Mayan archaeological sites in a dynamic and carefully structured tour.
The experience begins with a personalized welcome at La Aurora International Airport, followed by a panoramic tour of Guatemala City, showcasing its main cultural and historical attractions. Afterward, a private transfer takes you to the elegant Antigua Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage colonial city surrounded by volcanoes and steeped in history.
In Antigua, a guided walk allows you to discover its architecture, squares and cobblestone streets, complemented by a tour of nearby villages, where traditions, crafts and rural life offer an authentic glimpse of the Guatemalan highlands.
The adventure continues to one of the country's most iconic landscapes: Lake Atitlán. A boat tour across its crystal-clear waters allows you to visit three distinct villages, each with its own unique cultural expressions and spectacular views, framed by imposing volcanoes. After this experience, the journey heads north with a transfer from Antigua to Flores, Petén, the gateway to the Mayan world.
In Petén, the jungle becomes the main stage with the exploration of Tikal, one of the most important archaeological sites of the Mayan civilization, where monumental temples emerge from the vegetation, creating a powerful and memorable experience. The experience culminates with a visit to the archaeological site of Yaxhá, a complex surrounded by lagoons and jungle, ideal for enjoying an exceptional natural environment and panoramic views that convey the grandeur of the Mayan world. Finally, a transfer is provided to Mundo Maya International Airport, concluding an intense and deeply inspiring journey.
ITINERARY
We pick you up at La Aurora Airport. Upon boarding the vehicle we begin with the tour of the City visiting, Mirador Berlin, Av Las Américas, Av La Reforma, Torre Reformador, Centro Historico, Paseo 6ta Av and Mercado Central. At the end we take you to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
We start at 8 am from your hotel, with a walk through the colonial city, visiting Central Park, Arch and history of the Monastery convents, Church of La Merced, Central Market and Las Capuchinas Convent. We have lunch at a place to choose from. We then continued our adventure visiting the 5 towns around Antigua, Chocolate Factory, Jade Workshop, Old Town, Macadamia Nut Factory and the Textile Market. At the end of our day we return to your hotel in Antigua.
Our day begins at 6 am when we begin our route to the most beautiful and largest lake in Guatemala, Lake Atitlán, which has 130.1 km² and its deepest part is approximately 340 meters. Surrounded by volcanoes such as Atitlán, San Pedro and Tolimán. As we travel around the lake we visit Panajachel, Santa Catarina Palopó and San Juan. At the end of our day we return to your hotel in Antigua.
Our day begins very early at 03:00 am, your driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to La Aurora Airport and take your flight to Flores. Upon arrival your guide will be waiting for you outside the Mundo Maya Airport to take you on your adventure to the majestic Tikal Park, where we will visit impressive structures created by our Mayan ancestors. As your guide explains everything about this civilization, you will observe a lot of flora and fauna of the region. At the end of our tour, we had lunch at a restaurant. We will take you to your hotel on Isla de Flores, where you will spend the night.
We start our day at 8:00 am leaving from your hotel in Flores heading east of Flores. We visit one of the most important archaeological sites in the Mayan World. At the end we return to a restaurant for lunch. We will take you to Mundo Maya Airport at the end of the tour at 3:00 pm to take your flight to Guatemala City and make your return connection to your country. Wishing you a happy trip.
