The place that marks time, a community located within the Maya Biosphere Reserve, 23km from Tikal National Park, with its streets crossing the Petenera jungle, you arrive at this unique place, disconnected from the outside world, knowing its culture and its way of coexisting with the fauna and flora of the place, surrounded by ancestral Mayan temples, each year the most important date for the community happens in which the sunrise, equinox or solstice is commemorated, in the different seasons of each year, making it known that Mayan culture still lives on in the pure hearts of the locals.
ITINERARY
08:00 AM– We will pick you up at the Mundo Maya Airport, at a hotel in Flores, Santa Elena or El Remate.
09:20 AM – Arrival at the control booth for the Uaxactún ticket review
10:00 AM Arrival in Uaxactún and we begin the tour
01:00 PM –End of the tour at the Uaxactún Archaeological Site and we go to a community restaurant for lunch
02:30 PM —End of lunch tour and we begin with the return to your hotel in Remate or Flores
04:00 PM –We arrive at your hotel
