WHAT TO EXPECT!
We start leaving from the Colonial City of Antigua at 03:00 am to the Capital City, to board your flight to Flores, our Tikal Expedition guide will wait for you outside the airport with a sign with your respective name, then we board the bus to leave for Tikal, but first you decide if you want to go for breakfast (not included) to a restaurant since the tour is completely private, we are flexible with your schedule.
On the way to the Tikal National Park you will meet several communities on the shore of one of the 3 largest lakes in Guatemala, Lake Petén Itzá, which is home to hundreds of species of fish, birds and wild animals that live and feed on he. The Tikal Expedition Guide will show you the archaeological and cultural wealth within the Park which has been kept under the foliage of the trees for centuries, walking along trails once the Mayans built, in the heart of the Mayan world, In The City Of Las Voices.
ITINERARY
03:00 AM Departure from your hotel in Antigua to La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City
06:00 AM Flight departure from La Aurora Airport to Mundo Maya Airport in Flores
08:00 AM We will pick you up at the Mundo Maya International airport and head to Tikal (You can tell us if you want to have breakfast at a restaurant in the area (* does not include breakfast *).
09:20 AM Arrival at the checkpoint to purchase entrance tickets to the site. (we buy the tickets for you).
09:45 AM -We arrive at the Tikal National Park and begin our tour visiting the most impressive areas.
01:30 PM End of the Tour returning to the bus parking in the urban area of the Tikal National Park and we will go to have lunch at a restaurant in the area.
14:30 PM End of Lunch and we board the vehicle or bus, to go to Flores, (Walk around the Island is optional and on our own).
04:30 PM- Board bus to transfer to Mundo Maya Airport to check in and wait for the flight to Guatemala City.
08:30 PM– Your Tikal Expedition driver will be waiting for you and return to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala
