Tikal National Park is one of the largest, most important and studied archaeological sites in Guatemala and Central America, with 16 km² and with more than 3000 documented structures.
Your guide and Tikal Expedition pilot will arrive for you at the Hotel after you have had lunch and then travel approximately 1 hour to reach Tikal (Do not worry about buying the entrance tickets, we buy them in our packages)
The adventure begins!
As we walk along the trails that lead to the most important temples, the Tikal Expedition guide will tell you about the history of the great Mayan City. We arrive at the Central Plaza where we will climb Temple II (De las Mascaras) to obtain one of the best views towards the iconic Temple of Guateamala (Gran Jaguar), we continue along the acropolis and then towards Temple IV to climb and appreciate one of the Spectacular views of Temples I, II, and that's not all because we will climb the Lost World pyramid to see the Sun God descend on the horizon (Kinich Ahaw)
